Starting whole30

Well, I decided to start whole 30 tomorrow with a group of people from my crossfit. If you don't know what whole30 is, definitely check it out at whole9life. It's kind of a more strict paleo. For the next 30 days the only thing that will change about my blog is that you will see no paleo baked good, or treats. For me what this means cutting out of my life is any almond flour, alcohol, 72% dark chocolate, and sweet potato chips for 30 days. I am simply doing it to challenge myself, not to lose weight. I think persistence and not being afraid to do difficult things can really help you improve as a person and an athlete. My husband will be starting with me as well. This will be his 3rd time to do whole30 since february. He loves the challenge. Anyone who knows him definitely knows that. So if I reference whole30 a lot in the next 30 days you will know what I am talking about. All of my meals for the next 30 days will be whole30 compliant. Let the fun begin!!!!!
