I found this recipe on ohlardy.com. I changed a few things to make it paleo, and now it will be the perfect paleo Thanksgiving side dish.
To make you will need:
4 lb brussel sprouts
1 bag of fresh cranberries
Sea salt and pepper
4 tablespoons maple syrup
1 cup ghee
1 shallot chopped
1/2 tsp fresh thyme
1. Preheat oven to 400
2. Half Brussels and place on a baking sheet. Toss with olive oil and salt and pepper and roast for 30 minutes.
3. While brussels are roasting make the sauce. Start by putting cranberries and maple syrup in a sauce pan on medium heat and cook. Cook until cranberries start to break down.
4. In a separate sauce pan combine ghee, shallots and thyme and cook together until a little brown.
5. Now pour bugged sauce on top of cranberries.
6. Once brussel sprouts are finished roasting put on plate and top with the cranberry ghee sauce
