Today is day 15 of whole30. I am half way there. Today for breakfast I had 2 hard boiled eggs, I had left over cauliflower and pot roast for lunch, and a grilled plantain for a snack.
Between back to school haircuts, dance lessons and getting everything together for school to start, I didn't have time to cook tonight. I had heard from a friend that a local restaurant (The Main Dish) that makes frozen take home meals had started making paleo meals. I decided that today was a great day to try them. For today's meals they had sundried tomato grass fed burgers and a sweet potato and ground turkey casserole. I got both to have for dinner and I was so excited because they were both delicious. They also had frozen paleo cookie dough that you can buy, and take home to bake. That is on my list of things to eat as soon as my whole30 is over. Its really nice to know now that if I ever need a quick meal to bring to a friend, or something to grab quickly for dinner I know another place to go.
I love to see all of these local places joining in on paleo. Its frustrating, but also exciting to go to the local grocery store and find that they are sold out of sweet potatoes, plantains, and canned coconut milk. So many people wanting to change the way they eat for the better. One word... AWESOME!
