We tried to make something that was easy and that people could just grab and go. I think next year we might try a big pot of paleo gumbo. It was really a blast, and so many people loved our paleo food. The other group of paleo girls actually won the fundraiser because their table collected the most tips overall. They made delicious vegetable skewers and pulled pork lettuce wraps with mango salsa and tomatillo sauce. Their food was awesome. I will definitely be getting their recipes. The night was a blast and the paleo tailgates were a big hit. So many people asking questions about paleo and coming back for seconds and thirds.

Are there pits in the dates?? All this looks very scrumptious!!
No, you have to pit the dates. Sorry I have to add that to the recipe. They were sooo good.
Yes, you do pit the dates. They were soo good
Laughing because I just took my first bite into mine and about hurt my teeth!! I figured I got mine the same place you did and I was about to call and ask, where in the world did you find the already pitted dates!! And I could’ve sworn the recipe you posted said nothing about pits ;). Glad I looked at the comments or I would think it was just part of my whole30 brain drain!! These were sooooo good!!
the dates with the bacon were delicious!!!!!!! even my 8 year old likes them.
