Today our gym is starting a Whole Life Challenge. This is a 57 day challenge that involves clean eating, exercising, and all around living a healthy lifestyle. There are different levels of the challenge. I have chosen the advanced, so I will be cleaning up my eating significantly. This is exciting for our gym, but will also be difficult. We all had to take body measurements, the dreaded before picture, and do a crossfit wod to see where we are when the challenge started.
I am going to try to post tips, recipes, and even shopping lists to help those doing the challenge with me.
The first thing I plan on doing tomorrow is my food prep. I will be cooking 2-3 lbs ground beef( grass fed), 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast ( recipe for marinade below), 6 baked sweet potatoes, tuna salad, and a large fruit salad. This way I will always have a "go to" snack or meal.
For ground beef:
In olive oil cook chopped onion, ground beef, salt and pepper and garlic.
For Chicken:
Let marinate in salt and pepper, balsamic vinegar, coconut aminos.
Grill in olive oil
For Tuna :
Make Paleo Mayo, mix 2 cans tuns with mayo, chopped green apple, pecans, celery
