Cauliflower cakes with spicy mayo

Cauliflower Cakes with Spicy Mayo

To make the cauliflower cakes

1 head of cauliflower
1 onion chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 large egg
1 tsp garlic powder
1 cup almond flour
Coconut oil
Salt and pepper

To make the spicy mayo

1/2 cup homemade paleo mayo
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tablespoon sriracha sauce

1. Start by cutting cauliflower in to pieces and steaming it until it is tender.
2. Next chop your onion.
3. Begin to sauté your onion in coconut oil just to soften it. Once it is soft, remove from heat and place it in a large mixing bowl.
4. Now add to the mixing bowl minced garlic, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
5. Once you cauliflower is cooled a little, mice it and add it to the mixing bowl
6. Now add egg and stir all together.
7. Form into patties, and cook in a skillet of coconut oil
8. Brown on either side.
9. Serve topped with spicy mayo.
