Balsamic Crockpot Chicken

i found this recipe on Pinterest. I added a few things to the recipe I found and it was delicious and so easy to just have in the crockpot all day.

To make you will need:

6 boneless skinless chicken breast

1 onion thinly sliced

3-4 cloves garlic

2 tsp oregano

2 tsp parsley

2 tsp garlic salt

image6oz tomato paste

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup coconut aminos

1 cup chicken broth

1. Place chicken in crockpotA

2. Top with sliced onion and garlic

3. In a small bowl mix parsley, oregano. And garlic salt

4. Sprinkle half of seasoning on to chicken. Top with tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, chicken broth, and coconut aminos and then the remainder of seasoning.

6. Cook on low 8-10 hours

Is it garlic salt or garlic powder and when do you add the tomato paste?

    • admin says:

I used garlic salt. Sorry I was typing too fast. Also, add the tomato paste when you add the vinegar and chicken broth

Hey Kathryn – I actually have this dish cooking in my crockpot as I type! I was wondering…In the ingredients, it says Garlic Salt, and in the directions, it says Garlic Powder. (I did half & half this time around.) Which did you use? Also, at what point did you put the tomato paste in? Thanks so much – the kitchen smells great!

I just fixed my mistake on the blog! Sorry about that. I used garlic salt and I added the tomato paste when you add the vinegar and chicken broth

  3. Tara says:

How did and at what point in the recipe did you shred the chicken?

What did you serve with this? Sounds amazing!
